I AM THAT I AM

YHVH/I AM THAT I AM is the Sacred name of Our Heavenly Father and it is an affirmation of the Oneness of all things. This Holy Name is a statement of self-existence, transcendence, and ultimate mystery. This Name YHVH contains the unlimited Divine Power and is the Highest Key to the Manifestation of all our dreams and visions in this material world.

In Hebrew, “I AM THAT I AM” is written as “אֶהְיֶה אֲשֶׁר אֶהְיֶה” and it translates as “EHYEH ASHER EHYEH”. The word “Ehyeh” derives from the verb “hayah” which means “TO BE” or “TO EXIST”.

When The Creator of the Universe gives a name for His people to call Him it conveys His dominion over all things, the source of His power, and His eternal nature: I AM. He is the self-sufficient, self-sustaining Master of All that Is, WHO WAS, WHO IS AND WHO WILL BE. His name was revealed to Moses ( Exodus 3:14 ) as a gift to all mankind, to be shared with all nations, and to be transferred to all future generations.

By saying “I AM THAT I AM,” YAHWEH declared that He is Always Present and that His existence does not depend on anything or anyone else. Through His Sacred Name, Our Creator was emphasizing His unchanging nature. By saying “EHYEH ASHER EHYEH” ~“I AM THAT I AM,” Our Father declared that He always has been and always will be the same.

Essentially, Our Blessed Father is saying that He exists simply because He exists, and that He is not dependent on anything or anyone else for His being. By saying “I AM THAT I AM,” The Almighty One implies that everything in the Universe is ultimately connected and is a part of a larger whole.

“I AM” is the most powerful command statement there is. It frees you to be who you are destined to become because it's the power of The Creator Himself that is spoken into you. It can be used to empower you or disempower you, so be careful of what you attach to the end of that statement; it will manifest into reality. Overall, the phrase “I AM” is a powerful declaration of YAHWEH’s sovereignty, eternality, and unchanging nature. It reminds us of Our Father’s Greatness and desire for a personal relationship with us.

Moreover, “I AM THAT I AM” represents an invitation to connect with Our Heavenly Father personally. By affirming that “I AM,” we acknowledge our own existence and our connection to the Divine. Recognizing our connection to The Almighty One can help us find meaning and purpose in our lives. Also, to learn to live in harmony with His Holy Will. Ultimately, the phrase “I AMTHAT I AM” is a powerful reminder of YAHWEH’s Presence and His Endless Love for us. It can inspire us to deepen our relationship with Our Beloved Creator and live according to His Divine Design for our souls.

“People can't make Eloahim for themselves.

For they aren't really Eloahim.

Therefore, I will make them know

this once,

I will make them know My power

and My might;

And they will know and recognize

without any doubt

that My Name is יְהוֹהָ YHVH ~ YAHWEH ”

When you see the word ‘LORD’ in capital letters in the English language, in Hebrew it corresponds with the Holy Name of Our Creator ‘YAHWEH’, the name Our Heavenly Father calls Himself (see Exodus 34:6-7). Many people in the Jewish community won’t pronounce The Name of Our Father as it is written, and they have no idea as to how it was written in Paleo Hebrew. Instead, they will either spell it out loud when they come to it in scripture, or they will say ‘The NAME’ ~ HA SHEM.

LORD = YAHWEH

YAHWEH is the proper personal name of Our Creator revealed to Moses. ELOHIM is a title meaning "Master," "Mighty," or "Deity," emphasizing YAHWEH’s role as Creator and power. YAHWEH (YHWH) and ELOHIM are not technically the same word, but they are used in the Bible to refer to the same Divine Being, our Heavenly Father, the Creator of all things.

Bereshit Bara Elohim Et HaShemayim Ve-Et HaAaretz

This is what we read in Hebrew in Genesis 1:1. Instead of YAHWEH, the word ELOHIM is used.

“In the beginning, YHVH created the Heavens

and the Earth”.

Sometimes YAHWEH and ELOHIM are combined in the Bible as Yahweh Elohim (LORD God). While Elohim shows God as the powerful Creator of the Universe, YAHWEH conveys a desire for a close, personal relationship with his people. In summary, there are two different ways of addressing the same supreme Creative Being: one is a Title of Power (ELOHIM), and the other is a personal name (YAHWEH).
